Michigan Court Services ,Inc. is a privately owned, state licensed substance abuse facility serving the public and courts throughout Michigan since 1993. All Michigan Court Services testing staff have been certified as Alcohol Screening Device Operators.
We strive to provide professional services in a clean, welcoming environment for our clients with separate testing facilities for males and females. Test monitoring is via closed circuit cameras or personal one on one monitoring when requested.
Ron is a retired sobriety court probation officer with over 20 years experience in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
After serving in Viet Nam with the highly decorated 716 Military Police Battalion, he received his Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from Oakland Community College and his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia-Pacific University.
He is a certified addictions counselor, a US DOT qualified Substance Abuse Professional and Breath Alcohol Technician Instructor. He has been trained and certified by local law enforcement as an Alcohol Screening Device Operator and is certified by LifeLoc Technologies as an Evidentiary Breath Tester Technician Instructor.
Joyce joined Michigan Court Services after retiring as an Associate Director of Financial Aid at Oakland University, where she also earned her Bachelor’s Degree and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.
She has also been trained and certified by local law enforcement as an Alcohol Screening Device Operator and is a certified Evidentiary Breath Tester Technician.
